Hassim Post-01

Hassim Ali  SPC1017  Hassim Ali – Draft:  -Experience working with other people  -Experience with own pages and concepts  -Experience putting it together and practicing for the presentation    Hassim Ali – Post 01:     “ Overall, my  experience  with group one on the presentation about intercultural barriers w as helpful and constructive as I got to study the material needed, draw conclusions from it, and rehearse my part of the speech.  At the beginning, I was not sure what to expect when I first heard of the group project, but after hearing it explained part by part, I felt more confident and clearer about what is expected of me and my groupmates. The beginning was quite smooth as my groupmates, and I were able to establish a common platform for communication via WhatsApp and split each page and topic among ourselves. Someone in the group also had opened a common presentation template for us to insert our slides, which allowed everyone to see who was not ready yet, halfway ready, or

Group 1 - Overview My group was in charge of reviewing Chapter 3, then making a presentation to share with the class.  Working with my group on our class presentation was a really good experience. We all worked together nicely and helped each other out. Even when we had questions, we figured them out together, and had great teamwork the entire time. It felt good to see our hard work pay off when we presented in class. Everyone when presenting did their part on sharing their side of the chapter. I learned a lot from my group, and I think we made a great team. Our PowerPoint  came out perfect with beautiful pictures, and detailed text to showcase highlights and examples from the chapter. Overall, I enjoyed working with them, and it made our class project more enjoyable and successful. My page from the chapter was about "Culture and Communication" and it expanded on a lot of topics I didn't really know much about. It taught me about the meaning of culture, what comes with

The topic of our group was  Intercultural communication is about how there are many different cultures in this world where we learn everything about each other.  We learned as a group we helped each other as we were each learning about the topic.  We all did our own thing, but we came together to finish the whole PowerPoint.          The way we planned everything as a group, was to everyone have their own thing and I had pictures to just explain what my slides were about. We do need to learn to work together more but we also helped each other when we had questions.          The leaders are always there to help us even if people ask questions over and over. There are many possibilities for why the leaders were chosen because they always know what to say and when to ask.       The reviews for group two that I have that it is good for each presentation where they have details and sound that they did their work along with many other works. Each slide presenter stated their own stuff and di

My Group I was part of group one for this project where there was a total of 3 groups all divided nearly equally. Our group was assigned to talk about Intercultural Communication, referring back to Chapter 3 of our textbook to present the information we learned to the class. We had to summarize what we read and present it using 3 slides with lots of pictures and visuals to communicate our points thoroughly. This was our first assignment of the class and while I have to admit I would rather work on my own for assignments, I think our group managed to make it work and I didn't mind working as a team. While I enjoy working alone, I understand the value of working as a team especially with this assignment since everyone divided and conquered their part making it feel less stressful. As a group we worked well together, we communicated from the very beginning what each person felt the most comfortable talking about and distributed the work evenly in t

Group 1 - Intercultural Communication The group I was assigned to work alongside was Group 1.  I am a freshman and this was my first group presentation. Group 1 was responsible for presenting on intercultural communication. This was an interesting and challenging topic. My role was to explore the role of masculinity and femininity in different cultures. I wanted to explore how different cultures emphasize traditional gender roles in different ways. There were several aspects of this group project that made it memorable and learning. The collaboration everyone showed for this project was key in executing and elaborating on what Chapter 3 touched upon. Each member worked at their own pace, but it all came together and each slide complemented the other wonderfully. The workload was allocated evenly and fair for everyone to finish on time in order to present. The first thing that stood out to me about our group was the engagement in our project. It was the first time I had ever worked with
